🇲🇴 Macau is called the Las Vegas of China. People fly in from many countries, mostly from Asia, to try their luck or just to have a good time.

I do not gamble, so I decided to use the casinos differently: to eat, and for free 😁 Some casinos lay out buffets, and anyone who passes the security check and the face control at the entrance can have a snack. In my experience it is enough to be neat and dressed simply. I wore a white T-shirt, shorts and sneakers, and nobody stopped me.

Every casino in Macau also puts on free shows in the evening, and they are lavish (you can look them up on YouTube). I was unlucky there: on Monday all the popular shows were off. But you can watch the fountain show, a bit like the one in Dubai.
Free buses run between the casinos, with the main stop at the Lisbon casino. You can use them to get around the city and to the ferry terminal, so you do not have to spend money on taxis.

All in all, my spending for one day in Macau was zero. Only the hotel 😎
